LG 101 T Lakota Grammar for Teachers - I

  • Course Description (Wóuŋspe Oyákapi):

    This one credit course provides an introductory level coverage of three areas of Lakota grammar: (1) Lakota alphabet, phonemic inventory and pronunciation, (2) conjugation of Lakota verbs (inflectional morphology), and (3) sentence structure (syntax). The course is designed to equip Lakota language teachers with the knowledge of most fundamental concepts of Lakota grammar so that they are at a better position to develop or apply effective and engaging teaching activities.
